Carmel High School is a Christian Minority School established and administered by the Apostolic Carmel Educational Society of Bihar in the Roman Catholic Church. The Apostolic Carmel Congregation was founded in 1868 by Mother Veronica in Bayonne (France) and established at Mangalore in India, in 1870. Carmel School is a member of the All Bihar Christian School Association. It is situated at Bailey Road, Patna. It was started in 1944 and the High School was recognised by the Bihar Secondary Board of Education in 1972. The School is Affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi, since 2002 to conduct the Indian Certificate of Secondary Examination (ICSE)/ Indian School Certificate (ISC).
